SPS deep water acro lets see yours

This one is from Bill@IA, which he labelled as a neon suharsonoi (it is very yellow in my tank, even more so than when this pic was taken):

Hawkins frag from dvanacker:

Nice Hawkin's frag. I got my frag of 2 small branches about 3 months ago, but it seems to be a slow grower. Most of my other sps have grown and encrusted their rock in that time.

That hawkins is really nice. I think I have a new coral to add to my wish list :)

Doesn't seem to be much of an encruster, that is for sure. You think the frag is nice, you should see the mother colony in dvanacker's tank (his thread is here... http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1910505)

deepwater acros are typically the smooth skin verision. Though honestly they are likely maricultured in the same place as all the other acros/monti so it's just a marketing ploy. Not to say there aren't some really nice smooth skin acros and perhaps there is an aspect of the "deepwater" that I don't know about, to me they are just another nice catagory of acro.

They definitely arent light hogs but they can take a decent amount of light. Mid to lower flow and light in an SPS tank usually.
