T5 all day. You know it will work and no learning curve or color issues. A 4 bulb will be more than enough and either diy some leds into it or get a few build my led strips and call it a day.

If you get a sunpower you can attach the bml strips onto it cleanly and have the best of both worlds and be able to grow anything you want..

The more I read and talk to people, the more I lean toward Radion. The fact that the lenses can be changed to 120° would also give me the coverage im looking for on my 3' tank. The next question is do I go Gen 3 or Gen 3 Pro? Decisions Decisions! Lol

Get the G3 not the G3 pro. Your tank is small. The only real difference between the two that people don't really notice is that the white and blue LEDs in the Pro are a few watts larger in size making it possible to light a taller tank that a reg G3 can't light. Otherwise they're like the exact same light. You'd be fine with just the normal G3
