Don't know if you saw this awesome piece but google it. Reef raft jaw dropper this has to be the craziest piece I've ever seen.

I'm still somewhat of a newbie...do you think 1k is worth it? I mean that truly is the most colorful sps I have ever seen

There was a reefer that was highly respected that stated high price corals were only bought by hobbyist with great husbandry. Makes sense. If you think about it, you grab that piece grow it an inch in 6-9 Months pending growth rate. Sell it for $800 to the next person for a better deal. Then another inch a year from now for $600 etc... You spread it out and get your money back. Then buy the next big thing LOL Again that's also if you can blow that much. All great tanks pay for themselves that I have seen. Trimming of sps has always been a big hit.

Ok I think I have awhile to go until I'm considered someone with great husbandry...I'll wait 10 years when this will be a 50 dollar frag lol

Yeah I've been following this one looks awesome but not a G awesome.. I would never pay that for a frag.
I'm a fan of RR stuff though and the comment above on one opening up in the east bay is great news to me I didn't know about that. I want to hopefully one day get a Wolverine and avengers acro I have a pic of one of the mother colonies on my iPad for a screensaver =).

Very true...well this isn't the most expensive piece of coral I've seen...if this sps ever drops to a decent price I'm all over it...
