SPS feeders tank

G'day

I'm very likely about to endeavor into a really unique side of "reef" fish keeping and I was wondering if maybe some people could help me with other choices in fish to help "justify" attempting this!

So the plan is to dedicate 1 of my many tanks into an SPS "sacrifice" tank where by the fish within feed specifically upon SPS corals, before you freak out I HOPE to be able to just give them the cheapest stuff I can find albeit browning or just dull colored, to keep costs down.

However so far I have 2 primary fish species planned.

- Orangespotted Filefish (Oxymonacanthus longirostris).
- Leopard Blenny (Exallias brevis).

The plan is to go with a "pair" for each (I hope the blennies will get along but the files should be fine and prefer pairing to knowledge).

I was maybe looking at adding another maybe 1 extra species of SPS feeding fish that is rather unique unto its own as well filefish are unique (beyond what they eat) they look "different" and blennies are equally unique in their physical appearance, I know of like butterflies & angels etc. that will do the "job" but I'm really looking for fish the feed upon SPS specifically and / or are really weird looking like the current 2 planned.

Opinions, comments, thoughts, all appreciated :D just keep it civil please.

Sad for the coral but intrested to see what your tank selection looks like. I have a Lunar Wrasse that eats SPS. Colorful but not very exotic tho.

Yeah I was talking more along the lines of those with strict appetites like the Orange Spot Files & Leopard Blennies.

The tank will likely be around the 100-150L mark but be plumbed into a system 10x its size.

Crown of thorns is an interesting thought but I'm looking at fish specifically for now.

Any other SPS feeding only fish :)
