SPS fish

my strawberry wrasse is awesome and my christmas wrasse does great despite what lots of other people have said about them being terrorists.

Guss this has turned into a "worst SPS fish" thread. :p What about a mystery wrasse?

i know they're good too, but they'll eat any shrimp possible in the tank, so if you have shrimp inverts, they'll be gone =X

My sixline is the devil.

He terrorizes all new fish to the tank, and subsequently bullies some of my anthias and my small clown.

Wish I had never gotten him.

I'm fond of my yellow coris

I have a pinkface wrasse that eats monti nudis also, priceless

i want a radiant wrasse. but they need a sand bed and will jump (my tank is bb and open top... braceless to be exact).

they look beautiful, eat all sorts of bad stuff, double as cleaners to fish, and are pretty hardy.

I have a radiant and mine is happy without a lid. I do have a sand bed though.

other than attacking my hawkfish, my sixline is great. He and the clownfish also learned how to eat nori from a clip as well. strange stuff i admit.

Ive had many six lines over the years and ive never seen one be even remotely agressive. I love mine, and ill never have a tank without one!

That was my thoughts as well, but I always introduced them last.

I had to pull my black clowns out of my 180 for de-worming. When they went back in a month later, within 15 seconds the sixline was attacking them nonstop until I could safely get them out a couple of hours later. I was lucky they lived.

The sixline now lives in my sump. I do still have one alone in my frag tank.

Ditto on the Yellow Coris and Radiant wrasses. I bought them for pyrmid snail control on my clams, but they are an all around great maintenance fish.

I have a six liner too, not agressive at all.

i gotta chime in here as well... my 6-line has never once been the aggressor in my tank. i've had him for roughly 2.5 years and it's been nothing but a model citizen, it even eats flatworms. i guess it's a "hit and miss" fish depending on personality.

to break away from the wrasse theme-anthias are a great choice to as long as you can export all the waste from feeding two or three times a day-all the extra food will help give good color to your corals.i really like lots of the angel fish, but despite what alot of people say they are hit or miss.

Since no one's mentioned them yet, I'd list tangs as #1. They do such a wonderful job of keeping filamentous algae in check, and also provide plenty of poop for SPS;)

Lately, my sixlines been getting his *** handed to him by my trio of Orchids. But, he gets in his fair share of nicks, too:p
