Curious on folks keeping Frag tanks and whether they feed or not.
Brief backdrop:
my Frag system just upgraded from 75 to 125g and 'starting over' well i still have my 4 fish in the glass and kept 40% of my LR, just went for a bigger sump. my Frag tank is completely separate from DT.
i was dosing Aminos then turned to Pohl's Extra in previous system and although there were other problems in my previous system tied to imbalance, I feel that Pohl's was pushing the weaker frags over the edge.
Now that i'm rebuilding I believe i will no longer dose Pohl's, i may do Aminos, and i will feed my fish as required; yet tend to stay on the 'cleaner side' of nutrient levels.
So anyone have thoughts on 'feeding' frags. sure the more they grow the more they consume alk, ca, mg, sr, etc. but what about feeding frags. anyone feeding their frag tanks?
