I usually try to avoid shipping but when it has been unavoidable it has all come down to how well the sender packaged them. Some people seem to get it right others fail miserably. You might want to check on people's ratings of certain vendors. Overall in my experience 2 in 10 will be damaged in one way or another.

Really depends on what you order, and what you consider broken. I couple tips broken off on a thin branching piece.. sure that's to be excepted. A frag broken from it's plug sure.. A colony snapped in half, Never.

I have ordered 6 ora corals from saltwaterfish.com. This is my very first online order and will keep you posted on how this goes. I can tell you that even when I buy locally, things tend to break here and there. The transit and acclimation processes can yield fresh breaks, that's when you got yourself a new frag to make.

I have to ship as I have no real local supply and things are always broken, but they always heal up and grow!

I am thinking you will be good - I've bought from them in the past and they pack pretty well.

I just received a beautiful Red Dragon Frag, this sps is super delicate and thin. The packaging was stellar from Jared at Rocky Mountain Frags. Not even a tip was off the frag. Occasionally I will lose a tip here and there, rarely a frag will come off the plug but it is really no concern. I have only purchased larger colonies from DD, and only a few times over the years, and they package very well.
