Sps hand book

Guys,

I am thinking about putting together a SPS hand book and put our club logo on it. This hand book can be given to the store owners (our sponsors) and to all club members. We could call it the North coast reefing Bible :D

I think it should contain step by step instructions on

1, how to set up a simple reef tank/ frag tank

2, how to quaranteen the animals

3, dipping, and how to get rid of parasites

4, how to maintain Alk/calcium using various technique

5, how to do water changes

6, water top off options

7, A DIY section ?

8, Ozone / Carbon / rowas / and other water quality options

9, water flow technique

10, lighting options

11, to fuge or not to fuge :D

Any way, I think if we have this in a binder with plactic covers so that we can use it when needed then that would be awsome.

I can do this by myself, but I think its much cooler if the whole club do it with together so that we can share our experiences and help us and the store owners do a better job of keeping the animals alive.

If any of you have any ideas, please listed here so we can gather all the info and put it together. Also if you have links of the helpfull informations, please also liste it here.

TIA

Great idea. We could split up sections to members and have each other profread it. It could be sold and proceeds go to the club.

Maybe after we proof it and get a final product we could see about having Bob laminate or bind it or something so that it will look professional and then sell it that way. You both have such good ideas, I can't wait to see how the book turns out.

Another way is to have it on PDF format to sell online. Receive the payment via paypal to the clubs paypal account and then just send it email.

PDF would be cheaper due to no material cost and shipping.

I can definately get it printed and bound. The best way is to have it is in a PDF format when its done, email it to me and Shazaam!

Bye the way my friend that owns the printing company has a 90 gallon Reef in the lobby that Steve Ruddy maintains. He saw my tank and wanted one.
