i believe its an acro but what kind some say a nasuta and does it need high light metal halides right now its under t-5

Regardless, all acroporas need high light and high flow if you want it to grow.

I would say A. nasuta is a good guess. T5HO will be every bit as good as MH, IF you have enough bulbs with quality reflectors.
