Well the AEFW killed off all my acros and well my tank ..been a year now and have fish with live rock only . Finally thinking of getting back in with the corals but wonder what is out there new ? Should I try acro's again or go with chalice or ? What is the New thing now ? Pictures will help me decide help sway me back into this crazy Reefer Madness ..

Man, I love shots of tanks like that. I had a crazy busy summer and got behind on my maintenance, which caused my SPS to suffer badly. I've gotten my act together and I'm reloading frags to try to create something like that shot above. I'd be super-psyched by that...

I lost all of my SPS a few years ago due to a never-identified STN problem. It was terrible to watch everything wither away over the course of a few months. Version 1 of my 140 was not what I wanted. The tank ran on autopilot for a few years with softies, LPS, a few monties, and fish. :(

Version 2 started a few weeks ago with an aggressive cleanup and rescape plan. The first big restock is tonight when I pick up 14 new SPS frags. :)

Funny....I love SPS but I always think if I had to do just one coral in the entire tank it would probably be GSP. Could you imagine what an entire tank overgrown with GSP would look like....wouldnt take that long either.

You don't need pictures. Just by visiting the SPS forum I can tell you got an addiction in your blood like the rest of us. It's just a matter of time before you start again. I recently started over again after my tank crashed when we moved. Those little frags grow ever so slowly when you are starting over. The sooner you get them started the better.

Ive been wanting to do that in my kitchen! I have this ledge over the counter top that would hole a 48" x 8" tank that I wanted all GSP with sexy shrimp

Edit; oh god I feel MTS syndrome setting in
