SPS Identification Please

I don't know what this is. Someone please shed some light. Pic is a little washed out. It actually has a little red in it. It has encrusted the rock it is on. Thanks.

Pavona maldivensis

Thank you. I thought it was a Pavona, but I couldn't find a pic that looked similar to mine.

you prolly won't find a pic of one that color, it's most likely an orange variety thats been kept under intense lighting or has been very stressed. under optimal conditions it should color back up.

Pavona IMO, it doesn't have the correct polyp structure or wrinkles to be Leptoseris

you know Jet may be sort of right, it could be a Pavona but it wont be Maldivensis ........P maldivensis polyps dont look like that , i wish i had Veron's set at home......Lepto's and weird Pavona's have been coming in very regularly lately .....

Actually, I believe that you have either a Podobacia Sp. or a Lithophyllon Sp. Definitely not Leptoseris or Pavona.

You may want to post this in the LPS forum. There are several on there who specialize in these corals.
