Some of my spses has lost some tissue the past weeks.
Its not from the top or the bottom, but a little bit here and there.

It has probibly been some no2 in the tank later since a rather big fish died without me noticing, so the only thing i found when i noticed was the bones.

Can no2 cause tissue lost on sps corals?

excuse me for my bad english, hope you will understand.

The nitrite i gone now and i have done two 30% water changes.
will test for po4 now, but i have changed the po4 remower a couple of days ago so i hope its ok.

What should i do with the areas with lost tissue, should i break them of or can it regrow?

It depends on how severe the damage is. I watch the area and if the tissue recession has stopped I usually leave it. Othertimes it is better to frag. You'll know by looking. Good Luck.

Nitrites are not good for SPS and I would suggest a water change. You should also check PO4.

Nitrite isnt toxic in saltwater, and chances are, wont make a difference in reasonable levels.
