Thanks for the suggestions and I don't care if it is a "nano" or not you tank is one of the best I have seen. [/QUOTE]

Those full tank shots could be a 300 gallon tank. It's find it very inspiring. Do you do a lot of fragging?? The size of the corals in the tank make it seem much larger cause you've kept the corals at a good size relative to the size of the tank.

Yes I have to frag a lot.
If I want the composition to work, that is that the corals have the right dimensions to give that balanced look, I have to cut them at the right time.
Most corals are actually quite small, but some corals in front I let grow a little bigger to give the composition just the right look.

Robertus.

Thanks for the replies,

I use a shallow sand bed ( SSB ), and replace it every 6 months.
I use the aragonite sand, it looks good and the dirt doesn't penetrate it too much.

Hello JAHGYDI,

All the corals are attached with aqua scape construction epoxy(Deltec).
It cures in three hours and gives me enough time for good natural placement.
When neccesary the coral can also easily be removed.

how did you attach the coral ?

Robertus,

 You have an amazing tank. A definite inspiration. I was wondering if you have any pictures of how you setup your aquascape. I am planning on an upgrade from my 24 gallon and would like to see some pics of the initial setup if you have them. Thanks again for the inspiration.

Hello paytonv.

I am sorry, I dont have a initial set up picture.
But the rockscape is quite simple.
Two N form rockscapes with some space between them, and thats it. Rocks go only to half the heighth of the tank.

For a 24 gallon tank you could try to go for a single N form with a cave. Leave enough space. A tank shouldn't be completely filled with rocks. It is also the open space that makes a tank look bigger than it really is.
