SPS Phosphate level

I want less than 0.03, but have to get a larger container for my GFO. The 6x27" reactor just doesn't hold enough GFO to get my levels less than 0.1 these days.

Coral Growth and unnecessary algae Growth tells me that PO4 need to reduce. I use Rowaphos 15 grams in my canister filter to keep Po4 at 0 level.

I just received my new stuff from AquaMarine Singapore for Po4 Reducer, is called SORB 4. still I didn't use this produce, any suggestion about SORB 4.

Nice Day

Sounds like you got a large system.

You may have to do what I ended up doing too. I had to run a double chamber PO4 reactor in order to maintain the low phosphate levels.

It was just a simple cylinder reactor I designed, it looped to another phosban reactor when then goes directly into the tank. It becomes really expensive when you have to replace the media since you have to do twice as much. But I think i've only had to replace it once or twice every 6 months. Rarely see algae in my system. Just the occasional glass algae.

I keep my phosphate below 0.03. anything more than that, I get algae and my acro's suffer.

I change my 2LF reactor every two weeks, about 26 tablespoons or 60% full.

Yap you should use it. As good as RowaPhos, some time run off Rowa I replace with it. No problem still keep my PO4 in check near zero lower than 0.03 by Salifert. Though I still run ATS and dosing carbon with bac driven. Coral & growth good and no nuisance algae.
