sps problem/question

what caused one of my sps colony to suddenly die off? rest of my sps are fine. havent checked my water yet, i posted this first for a quick answer/tip. TIA

Dont know the name I cut a piece off about a month ago and it was fine yesterday when inlooked this morning it was 90 percent bone ?! Weird

it probably got too stressed ! or flow around it changed ?

I would ask if you have GAC in your filter, but since others are doing fine, I guess it just got too stressed.
