Sps - qt

Im gonna learn from a fellow reefer that ended up getting AEFW so Im setting up a new QT for any future SPS purchases.

However, I dont want to spend too much on lighting that ill only use once in a while.

Anyone have any experience with this light?

If so, do you think it will be sufficient for QT'ing SPS for a few weeks?

I've always looked at QT as the goal being to keep them alive for a couple weeks to go through a few dips.

I use a no name light that was about $100 and has something like 24 3W led's with no lens. It has blue and white. The corals always loose color in there, but I'm not too worried about that.

My QT is 5 gallon and I put the frag rack up fairly high to make the most out of the light.

I have my qt right next to my main display. I aim my one Kessil A360we to light my qt setup.

I have been using this specific one to light part of my main display for a month, but have used similar bulbs like this for years. works well enough.

I use the same light, Par 38 bulb. Perfect for 3-5 weeks QT. in a 10 Gallon tank Daily WC. Weekly dips. They do perfectly fine
