Small update,

Cleaned the tank today.
Fragged some corals,
I changed the kH to 8 instead of 7.
Growth is enormous!! hardly controllable.

fantastic!

Your tank is one of my favorites Robertus!

Did you lose your elegance coral? It looked hurting pretty bad in the last set of pics and I dont see it in the current set...

Hi Stunreefer,

Yes, lost it, the more my acro's accelerated their growth in the last half year, the less it expanded.
It doesn't like these current water conditions.

I really liked the elegance coral and wished it would have gone together with the other inhabitants.

Grt,

Robertus.

Hey Robertus,

What can you tell me about the beautiful blue acro with pale polyps in the lower right corner of this pic? I would love to get my hands on a piece like that one day... very sexy coral

Looking great as always!!!!

Hi Mykel Obvious,

This acro I bought when it was almost ready to be thrown away.
It was very small and was very badly damaged. Nobody wanted it.
I still bought it because it looked very fragile and i like the fragile acro's. Also it had a very beautiful dark green color at the living parts.
It took almost half a year before it started recovering and now it is growing very slowly in table form, very dark distinctive green/turquoise with purple tips and large polyps. It is a compact table acro with small upright branches.
I have no positive ID yet.

Grt,

Robertus

Hi robertus.
Your tank is an inspiration.
I can't imagine all this being achieved in a smaller tank size and with not to much equipment in or around the tank as far asI can see in the pics.
Can you please share you water parameters, equipment you use, dosing regimen, how are you maintaining your Ca ALK and MAg levels...

yeah you are going to have to open those sump doors and reveal the rest of your secrets...because that is one of the most amazing tanks i have ever seen...congrats to you for the amazing growth, colours, compatibility, and overall appearance..

Thanks guys!

I hope I will be given the opportunity to present my tank here at ReefCentral in an complete article and give all the answers you have about my tank.

Until then I give some more pics. :D

Robertus, how do you have your circulation pumps placed for this packed tank? You're using Tunze Nano-Streams, right?

Hi Todd,

Yes, I use 4 tunze nano's on an intervaltimer. Pumps are on the 4 corners of this tank and point somewhat to the middle of the tank. Also on the 3500G return pump loop, there are 6 outlets in carefully placed positions.
I have tested the flow and adjusted it so there are no dead spots. So max flow is 8500 G/hour in a 50G tank.

Grt,

Robertus.

Whats under and behind the tank?i.e. the sump? I think you might have this tank attached to a 1000 gallon system we cant see.;) ;) :D
