SPS Solana

Thanks everyone! I like the reefkeeper, I havent had any problems with it at all. On my old 70g, the lit tank was a refugium but it was designed to following the cryptic zone method.

As far as more details on my system and my saltwater mixing station goes, I dont really have any schmatics. I wish I did. Is there anything in particular you have a question about?

First of all awesome tank very clean.
I have a couple guestions, do they sell just the tank itself without the cpr skimmer, 2 I like the rimmless style but would like a canopy instead, I would built stand and canopy. I will also build the stand taller. Would u recomend that. let me know when u get a chance. Thanks

I don't get how you can like the rimless look but want to canopy it? To each his own...I guess...it would be like saying you love your convertible, but never drive with the top down!

So you don't have any heat issues with the 250 MH? I would think if anything you'd need a chiller, not a heater. Awesome tank!

Hey everyone, I just got a new camera (with white balance!) and a few new frags (orange ricordia, blue ricordia, red planet sps, and green button polyps) so I thought I would post a few pictures!

The pictures are so much more true to color than the ones I took with my old camera. You may notice a couple of corals that are pale in color. Those are the ones that I almost lost when I moved. Hopefully they will recover soon. Anyway, thanks and enjoy!

do you clean your glass, filter, pumps and sand daily?...WOW!!!:eek2: :eek1:

Thanks guys!

I normally just magfloat the glass every other day or so, in addition to doing 5g water changes and scraping all surfaces weekly. Plus I have 7 Mexican turbo snails and they do a greaaat job cleaning. They are the ones who keep the pumps clean! haha

GREAT Setup i love it

I was set on the Red Sea max130d but i dont know now??????
Any opinions ?????

Do you recall where you got the JACO fittings your using for dosing? I like the clean look for just running 2 tubes to the JACO fittings for dosing but I can't seem to find anthing local. Looks like your using a 90 elbow and something else? Thanks

I got the fittings at Lowes, they are 90 degree elbows, one end is threaded, and the other is a push-in. I just drilled holes in the plastic and threaded them in without taping.

Also, I leave the sunpod of for 10 hours per day (10:00am - 8:00pm)

Thanks for your patience!

You have a great looking tank. Excellent job of keeping a clean look with all the equipment.
