Hey Everyone!

I am graduating college this December and I decided to downsize from my 70 gallon oceanic tech tank to a smaller tank so that it will be easier to move over the next two years. I used some of my livestock, corals, and equipment from my existing tank for this build. After a few weeks of preparation, I made the switch to the new tank this past weekend!

Specifications:
- Aquarium: 34g Solana and Stand
- Light Mount: 14” Zero Edge Lamptree
- Light: 20” 250W Current Sunpod
- Controller: Reefkeeper II with Temp and pH
- 2-Part Dosing: Litermeter III and Pump Module
- Flow: Tunze Nanostream 6025 and 6055 with Single Controller
- Back-up: Xpower 400 UPS for 6025 only
- Auto Top-off: Tunze 5017 with Pump (5.5 gallon reservoir)
- Skimmer: Tunze Nano 9002
- Heater: 200W Stealth

Modifications:
- Installation of mounting bracket for Lamptree
- 1/8” black acrylic on back overflow panel (for ease in cleaning algae)
- Two JACO fittings mounted in second divider for dosing injection
- Cut over overflow to all for stock Tunze skimmer cup to fit.
- Moved Tunze skimmer magnet to side mounting location
- Installed one glass divider to separate dosing additives in 5.5 gallon tank
- Installed fifth leg in the center of stand to help support weight of both 5.5 gallon tanks

Corals:
- 3 clams
- 15 SPS
- 8 LPS
- 2 Softies

Livestock:
- 2 Percula Clownfish
- More to come

Enjoy…

Thanks! The tank is bare bottom with a 1/4" piece of white starboard covering the bottom glass.

Man, that is a nice well thought out setup. Do you have any kind of drawing, or schematic of the way you have your ATO and dosing setup? Agian, very nice and well thought out.

Thanks Spsfreak! Unfortunately I do not have any drawings of the layout, but I will take some more detailed pictures later this week and post them to help show how I set things up.

I attached the Sunpod by drilling two small holes in the top of the fixture and using two sets of stainless steel nuts, bolts, and washers to secure it. It was easier to do than I though it would be.

Thanks everyone!

davew0607: I will take some more and post them within the next day or so.

Reefer07: The two smaller ones are, but they are going to be moved onto the rocks or onto a small bed of rubble after I decide where exactly I want to put them. The large one is a Derasa.

myreefcentral: I purchased it online, just Google it and you will find a distributor.
