Two stability parameters that I will suggest are pH and temperature. This might spark another debate but this is purely my suggestion only. Others my feel differently about parameter stability.
1) pH stability = pH monitor, dosing pump, kalk reactor
2) Temperature stability = ranco dual temp controller + won brother heating element + cooling fans and/or chiller
Both of these can be controlled with an aquarium controller like Reef Keeper or an Apex. I would suggest apex over RK but both will do the job.
3) Next is daylight stability. Although this is not really the most important and I have always used a simple timer on systems not on a controller, I think I have overlooked it importance the past several years. This kind of relates to temperature stability but I think there is more to it than that.
Night time is the best time. That is when more booty shaking is going on with the pods and they are much more active at night. This results in more food in the water column. With that being said, you need the acros to have a stable day time / night time schedule for best results so your acros are better trained on when it is feeding time and when it is not. Like I said, this is not a requirement but you will notice a difference with acros.
4) Ca, Alk, stability is based on the way you supplement and it is also depends on your magnesium levels. Phosphate stability is important as well. Stability in these parameters will help an already experienced sps keeper get better growth.
