SPS tank - 40G

I´m setting up a new SPS reef, but now a small one

I need ideas of aquacaspe

If you have a SPS reef between 40G / 70G, please post a pic

My nano will have 40G

Some ideas about what skimmer and Light also would be good

I´m thinking in 6 x 24W T5 or 1 x 150W HQI plus 2 x T5 actinic

I would go with the HQI and T5 combo. I think the shimmer on the rocks from the metal halide is really cool looking. For a skimmer I would use an Aqua C Urchin or Remora Pro. I have an Urchin an it works pretty well.

I've got an sps dominate 40g breeder.. I went with the 2x150MH/4 T5 combo.. aka the current usa "outer orbit".. I am pretty happy with the results.. IMO I'd go with 2x150MD.. That way the direct lighting wont be limited to just the middle of the tank.. and you can put the frags in any location you please with strong light.. Although.. ha I don't know the dimensions of your tank..

i'll try and find some pictures of the my tank with just the aqua scape..

the light fixture i was talkiung about fits a 36" long tank.. ha so that wouldn't work.
i'd still go with the MH-T5 combo..

Also, I have the 2x250 watt 4x t5 outer orbit fixture and an rs-80 skimmer. I like them both, but the skimmer air valve gets clogged with salt creep and needs cleaned frequently
