SPS -vs- Softies

Quick question ~ I think. ~ I started with Softies now am moving to SPS. I got rid of my toadstools, but now understand that all softies may inhibit Acro growth.

Should I go ALL SPS ? I have some nice softies but if there is a chance.......well what do u think ?

General consensus is that all SPS is easier than mixed. I like the mixed look better. I also run carbon 24/7 and do about 1/3 water volume change twice a month.

You can maintain them together. However, the requirement for the two types of corals usually differ so you're going to have a bit of a balancing act going on in a tank with SPS and softies. You're also going to most likely encounter chemical warfare and will have slow SPS growth, though regular use of GAC can help curb that.
