Sqaureblock Anthias not eating

My Male Squareblock Anthias is not eating and im wondering what I can do to get him to eat. He will not take frozen Mysis, flake, baby guppies, ghost shrimp, or fish eggs. Its going on 4 days now with no eating. He doesn't seem nervous or stressed. He swims around freely until he sees me and then ducks into the rocks. What can I do?

New fish? In QT? Did he eat in the store.

Sometimes new additions take a while. Live brine would be worth a try if you can find it

Sometimes it takes them a few days to eat.

For me, small food works well in getting Anthias to eat: Frozen or live pods, cyclops and shaved up mysis. Put the food into high flow and they usually take to it well.

Not unusual for a new fish to take a week or two to begin to eat. Male squares can be quite twitchy, so patience is required. Excellent suggestion to pour food into the circulation pumps. Anthias like to 'hit' moving prey, so it can help a lot.
