Squamosa/Derasa hybrid?

Hey everyone!
Welp, I just got my first clam two days ago and he rules!!! I was told that he is a squamosa/derasa hybrid. He is about 4.5" long, with many different colors on the mantle. I've seen purple, white, black, green, and some red. I've never seen a clam quite like it. Anyways, just wondering if anyone has ever heard of a hybrid like that. Thanks!

No! Please take pictures. Have heard of hybrids between maximas/squamosas.

Same here. I have only heard/seen of maximas and squamosa hybreds. A picture would be sweet!

I don't have a digital camera but I could maybe use my PC cam. I'll try and get some, this clam is pretty cool looking. As far as hybrids, do they require less light like the squamosa or more light like derasa? Just curious. Thanks!
