Squamosa placement

Hi,

I have a 20 high and I just got a baby squamosa. My lighting consists of a 150 watts HQI 20,000 Ã"šÃ‚ºK pendant aproximatedly 10" above the surface.
My doubt is where I should place the clam.
I have read at several places that squamosas prefer sand but Im not sure if with this lighting its ok.

Squamosas like to be on the sand bed and can adjust to your lighting setup although it may darken a bit.
