Square back anthias

My lfs has 2 female and 1 male left. Would love to get them but have never owned an anthias. The male is only 59.99 and the females are 39.99.


Are the square backs a hardy specimen

Must confess to not having kept a square for many years. When I did I was a far less accomplished reefer and had all sorts of problems with them. They get big, need plenty of swimming room, and eat like a 10 year old boy (hollow fins). If you can provide them the space they need, are willing and able to feed them frequently, and can acquire a healthy specimen, give it a shot.

I had one a long time ago and it was a bit aggressive but it may depend on the fish.
