Squareback anthias pair

My LFS has a nice male/female pair of squareback anthias. Has anyone had success keeping a pair of these? I'm aware that they are heavy eaters.

I had a good success with a harem of 4, they were about 4" long. They were very active and hungry, unfortunately I had velvet wipe out the tank and them.

Shane, did you find their color faded over time? I see online that bright lights can cause their colors to fade. I have some basic LED lights, nothing to write home about.

I had them under LEDs with enough light for Coral in a 30" deep tank, they didn't fade for me. I only had them for 3 months when disease struck.

I'd argue that they need a much bigger tank than 48" long. Very active swimmers and always hungry. I've had best success with groups of females of which one eventually turns male. Similar husbandry to the Bimaculatus Anthias.
