I've mostly used Reef Octopus water blaster pumps for a return pump from my sump in my last set ups. Cant fault them. Now i've moved home from Europe to New Zealand and my pump got smashed in transit. Just wondering if the 24v SR Aquaristik 3000 GPH DC Pumps are any better ? as I can get a used HY-16000W for the same price as the SR which pumps approx 11000 lph. Understand its not quite as powerful . I need to return a min of 10,000 lph.
I see the HY 16000 draws 250W and the SR draws only 85W
