SSB Question ?

If you were going to do a SSB , which sand would be your first choice ? Ted

I used relatively fine Arogonite for the buffering potential...

I bought half of it dry at Get tanked, and the other half was bought from a fellow reefer who was breaking down a 240.. I rinsed it with new SW to bring out some nitrates, but leave it "live"..

I'm still thinking that at some point I may buy a couple of pounds of "GARF grunge"

I am in the process of setting up a group buy for aragonite sand. The same sand that mflab did about 5 months ago. I will have all the info in a few days. The min. order is 1500lbs. I need about 600.

Ted, I want to shrink the depth of my sand bed by an inch, if you want the sand, you're welcome to it... we just need to get it from here to there...

Take a 3/8" hose, start the siphon and suck the sand out. You well get about 1/2 water 1/2 sand. Have salt water ready like you are doing water change.
