SSC has limited PE

My vivd-tri color is displaying normal polyp extension while my SSC has limited to no PE except for at lights out.

Forgive the image quality these are phone pics, but you can see what I'm addressing. The SSC has been in the tank for 10 days and was added when nitrates where high (my fault), the tri-color has been in for 4 days.

Wonder if I should move it up in the tank as when I purchase it it was setting 10 inches from the light.
