For what its worth, I send in a sample of my tank to MarinLab
for ICP analysis. And for $40 instead of $30 they will also test your
RO source. I am pretty sure my RO is fine, so instead I decided
to test carbon Filtered tap water before RO
I also tested nitrates on the sample and that was 12 ppm.
The results are attached.
In the st Louis area there are two sources of water served by Missouri-American Water. The Missouri river and the Meramac River.
According to Missouri american water, where I live (in Clayton, just west of Forest Park), our water is purely derived from the Missouri River.
So this test should be representative for anyone who gets water from that source.
I shold also note that the test result agree reasonably well with Missouri-American's water report which is available on their website.
