So I'm setting up a Litermeter to run of my AC jr.. and I was thinking I can either A. Use it to does Kalkwasser according to my current ph to keep it nice and stable @ 8.3 OR.. I can dose it based on time, to try to keep a nice stable Salinity. Lately I've been really feeling Salinity is a rather over-rater parameter, and that are corals and fish are perfectly capable of thriving in a wide range of salinity from say 1.021-1.030. While they only thrive in a small window of PH (and prefer very little swings). I also wonder which will be more stable. Will the difference in the amount of kalkwasser I need to drip to keep my PH solid @ 8.3 create a greater Salinity swing the, the PH swing I'll receive by dosing my kalkwasser at a drip rate to keep my salinity stable?
