Hi today I get coral from my friend. After 10 hours in bottle I saw 3 stars like image.
Can someone please help me with identification and tell me if thay are good or bad for my reef? Now thay are separated in different bottle.

Also I find this in the bottle:

Thanks

The thin-armed star that can cause trouble is the 'green serpent star.' Google for image.

Serpent star. Totally harmless! I have had a few come in my corals before. I just add them to the display.

What all of them have said. IMO, micro brittle stars are a very important part of a healthy system.

Heck, I collect them out of sponges that wash up on the beach here in SW Florida. Along with small porcelain crabs, pistol shrimp and peppermint shrimp.
