Starcki damsel

I got a Starcki Damsel from a local reefer and he's doing great in my QT. He's a beautiful fish but I'm a little worried about adding him to my DT because of the reputation of Damsels being aggressive. At some point, I'd like to add a pair of Rhomboids to my DT. Would you add him?

DT is 60*30*20 with 2 tangs, 5 wrasses, 2 clowns, flame angel, borbonias.

I don't think you have anything to worry about with that group. I can't see a damsel causing that much trouble with two tangs and an angel to put him in his place.

I have one in my 100 gallon tank and while he tries to live up to his damselfish reputation, he is more of a wannabe than a real terror. The nearly equally sized female of my regal angel pair constantly puts him in his place, while the regal male just ignores him completely.

I voted yes, I would add one but that answer comes with some caveats as mentioned above. They are a laid back damsel and I'd happily recommend them with sensible stocking. By that I mean keep away from timid species and monsters and you'll likely be ok.
The only issue mine has ever had was with a yellow wrasse and the clowns hammered it much more. Generally I think ThRoewers comment above "he is more of a wannabe than a real terror" is spot on.

I have a pretty large and effective fish trap if things don't work out for you. Good luck!
