So I ordered two yellow linkia starfish and I received something very different. I believe it's a pacific jewel starfish but I'm not 100%. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Taken under leds it has all different colors like a jewel.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

I think he should be pretty safe. I'm not exactly sure what Nardoa like to eat, however I don't recall any harmful behavior to reef aquariums, or vice versa.

They do get a little lengthy with around an 8 inch diameter.

thanks for the info. I have an 8ft tank so that will give it plenty of room to grow. I have read longevity in captivity is not great.

Have had mine in the tank for 9 months, comes up the front of the glass when its hungry for his little silverside chunk.

Hard to tell from the underside, but looks like Fromia/linckia. Both are well known for starving in home aquariums.
