So for the last few weeks, my starry blenny and GDM have been spending a lot of time together. They share the same cave/hole. They don't fight. When I first introduced the eel, I thought the starry was being aggressive but he never bit him or anything like that, he just spent a lot of time around him and was changing colors. I had read that the changing colors was aggressive so I just assumed that was it. Then I read somewhere else that they also display those colors during courting and mating. Now I'm thinking that it was the latter. The starry will leave to investigate the rest of the tank and then goes right back in the hole with the eel. Needless to say, they are a weird pair! Here is my proof, because I would think I was lying too if I haven't witnessed it personally and finally got it on camera!
