very nice work!
i highly commend you on that... has me itching to learn to work w/ acrylic... like how you maximized the space/size sump - as well as the design of the sump itself... stand looks like it turned out well also.

would the skimmer work better
if it were elevated a bit more out of the sump?... cant really tell from the pics but it looks like the water level is pretty high on the skimmer body.

Skimmer seems to be working better today. I had to lower the gate valve mod. I was getting the cup overflowing but today after the lower gate valve seems ok. I will be keeping an eye on it.
