Starting a 180 gallon build

Hey guys I'm starting my first major build with a 180 gallon, all glass, dual overflow tank (used). I have a small 48 gallon sw tank that has been running for about 8 months now so I kind of know the basics but I do not have a sump for the small tank so I am going to need some step by step advice on setting up a sump system for my 180 gallon tank. This build will be done slowly over time for financial reason but I do want to build this thing right the first time. I have started cleaning the tank and got most of the coraline off but there is a haze on the front glass that I am having trouble getting rid of, any recomendations on what to use for the haze? If not it's no big deal. My main thing I want is advice on is the sump system, cause I am totally clueless on what I need. I'm thinking I want to build my own setup out of a 55 gallon aquarium but I need help on placement of baffles, where to place pumps and skimmer, what I should and should not put in my refugium, plumbing, or anything else that would be helpful. I am not very experienced in this hobby yet but I have learned a lot already so any help would be appreciated.
