Starting a build thread for 125 gallon tank

Ok, been picking at the plumbing today, I have the returns plumbed in from the pump to the 2 corners... what do you think?

There are 4 unions here, one under each bulkhead fitting, one just above the pump, and one just to the left of the T fitting. This allows me to disassemble the plumbing system in to two pieces, and get it all out of the stand if I need to. Now on to the drain lines!!!

This little tool from Lowe's was a godsend, I almost bought the pieces separately for close to $20, but then I found the package deal on clearance for $11.97. It included a backsaw, a miter box, and the 2 black pegs you see here, cool cam action system worked great for wedging the pvc into the box. Perfect cuts every time!

Yes, I found a very long-jawed vice grips, and all the way open it grabbed it just fine. I was able to get the 1/4 turn even though I put my skinners on them and couldn't tighten them any more.

As for the return, it's a quiet one 1200. I'm figuring it'll put out 900 gph due to the head, and a little less due to the 45 degree fittings and unions and ball valves.
