Yes most are small frags as I wanted to watch them grow.

I have a lot of coraline which shows up quite well on the macro shots.

The green thing bottom middle is the Duncan which started with two heads and now has 4 addition small heads. Not bad for six weeks.

As for coral I want to concentrate on Acropora since I only have one piece. I wanted to wait until the tank was stable before introducing any. I will probably wait to see how the new one works out before I add any more. Of course if something really cool comes along I'll go and buy it.

The Dendrophyllia is a little more maintenance than I wanted since it needs to be hand fed more than once a week and is a really slow eater. I have to protect it or the other critters will steal it's food. The peppermint shrimp especially. I need to get a strawberry container to put over the top while it eats.

The next fish may be a Coral Beauty Angel. Or it could be a pair of clowns. Also on the list is a Pseudochromis fridmani or maybe a small school of Blue and Green Chromis. I am still deciding.

At this point I just want to get a skimmer that works. Counting the one that came on the AquaFuge Pro this will be my third in six months.

The Nano Tank will still happen later but even without buying the skimmer I wanted to concentrate on getting the main display completed first.

The Foxface was guarding it's spots when I first introduced the Tang but they seem to be getting along fine. They will both eat from the same Nori I put on a clip at the same time.

I have a feeling the PBT will be the more agressive one.

Yes that's lettuce . I need to trim it back again. I tried to remove it all about a month or so ago but it came back.

The Coral Beauties may nip but a lot of people have been successful. I guess if you keep them fed they won't nip the coral.

Sounds good. Just you have to think about the coral beauty because they are known to pick at corals. But its a 50/50 chance.

I also am considering the Watanabei Angelfish Genicanthus watanabei. Any of the Genicanthus species are completely reef safe but most are not very attractive. The Watanabei is expensive and hard to find.

The Zebra Lyretail Angel is also not bad but it's more expensive than the Watanabei and IMO not as attractive.

I like the male Watanabei better (of course a male/female pair looks good too)

I seem to recall that although these only get to 5 or 6 inches, that a 5 foot tank is preferred.

The male does look nice but I actually prefer the female. It would be nice to actually see one in person as photos sometimes do not do the fish justice. I have only found them online with stock photos.

I have a beautiful Flame Angel in my 90 Gal and he has caused no problems. I tried a Coral Beauty and Ebili Angel and had to tear the tank down to remove both for picking on corals and clams.

Your tank is coming along great.

Just caught up on the thread. Absolutely love the pics, and am learning lots along the way. I have an EV-180, and so far love it. I was hoping you would keep yours, and follow how long the break in was. Mine is now about 4 days old and pulling out some nice "gunk". Keep the pics coming!

Just thought I would chime in about the post a page ago regarding the coral beauty angel. Pygmy angels are pretty much hit or miss. Mine does not touch corals, yet I seen them eat zoanthids and such before, also SPS.

Another thing to consider would be the flame angel. CBA and Flame Angel are very close as far as behavior and size, but I must say that the coral beauty spends much time zooming in and out of rockwork, whereas my friends flame angel is more out of the rocks and swimming. To my knowledge, the flame actually gets like 1" or so smaller than the CBA also, but not quite sure on that figure.

My Coral Beauty seems to leave zooas alone, but will pick at zenias, pretty much has killed the whole colony. He is a constant grazer though. Not a bad choice.

I did replace the CBA with a Flame and so far so good. I like the color of the Flame better also. The Flame will swim in and out of the rock work all day long picking at the rocks. I have 5 clams and about 20 SPS and so far he has yet to pick at them.
