I got it at Cherry Corals. Only one I have seen like this one. He has another rainbow but I can't tell what it looks like from the picture.

Dano you have some great looking livestock! Are you getting it all on line or any particular place local?

How is your Tang doing?

I buy mostly online but have a few from my LFS like the Torch. Most were purchased at LiveAquaria.com (Divers Den).

I also picked up the following at Cherry Corals and will post some picks soon.

Red Acropora
Australian Prism Favia
Bruddah's (Sam Tabora) Original Superman Danae

just read this whole thread and WOW not only a beautiful tank but beautiful pictures as well!!!!

has this tank actually only been setup for 3 months now?

I just upgraded my Nikon D80 to a D300 today and these are my first pictures with it. There are quite a few different settings with this camera which is why the pics of the other pieces I got today are not posted yet.

Here's the Bruddah's Original (Sam Tabora) Superman Danae. Boy was this expensive. This piece is only about a half inch which puts the price at $43,000 per square foot.

lol!!!! love the perspective on price per square foot! Your thread has been very inspiring and it helped me get through my 75g build - I wish I had the time to post progress like you did.

Didn't you just get the D80? What made you decide on the D300? I remember debating about the D200 when I got my D80, but couldn't justify the cost difference (even though it is a better camera). I haven't checked out the D300. My guess is that it is really nice. Of course I would not be able to upgrade my camera for a while or my wife would kill me :D

For what it's worth, I went through a month where I had some issues with my Tunze 9010, but once I soaked it in vinegar it started working great again. Of course, I do have my air open completely. This used to produce very wet skimmate, now it produces about 100-200 ml per day of good stuff. I probably need to clean it again.

Yes I got it in December. The D300 has Live View which allows you to see zoomed images on the LCD so you can really fine tune the focus which is great for macro shots. This is just one of the additional features. It is really a much better camera than the D80 hence the higher price. I also picked up a 70mm to 200mm 2.8/f zoom lens.

I don't know why I could not get the Tunze to perform well. I tried for three months. The BM pulled out 1 liter of medium green skimmate in the last two days. I tried to adjust it this morning after cleaning out the cup to get some darker skimmate and may have over done it because it stopped producing so I had to adjust it back. I should have left it alone as it was doing pretty well just a little thin. The adjustments are very sensitive, at least they are at this time.

Great pics! I am a Canon guy myself (5D).

Awesome brain. Should be amazing when he opens up.

This is one of mine

Hope you don't mind the pics. Actually I just wanted to check back with you to see how you are liking your BubbleMaster Skimmer. I still haven't made a decision on a skimmer yet.

Your pictures didn't load. I'd like to see your brain. Boy that really sounds weird.

You mean my brain will get even bigger? Oh Crap :) Yeah it's was only in the tank a few hours before I took the picture.

Canons are really nice also. My first SLR was a Canon. I went to Nikon after that and stayed with Nikon primarily because all my lenses were Nikon mounts. I'm sure this is why many people never change after they initially buy a Nikon or Canon Body.

The BM is working great as mentioned above. I got about a liter of medium green skimmate in two days.

I went ahead and posted yours for you. They are really nice. I guess you don't have a problem with it being directly on the rock. I was told to make sure it had a soft sandbed to avoid damage.

The tank was started in August so it's nearly seven months old.

Forgot to answer about the Tang. It's doing great. He thinks he owns the Tank now.

arrgh. Having trouble direct linking to my pics. Thanks for posting. I also put them here:

Pics

There's a pic of the green one fully expanded. Haven't had problems with them on the rock. They just droop over. Can't put him on the sand because my sand sifting goby would just bury them. The do get much bigger once they acclimate. It's pretty cool. Also, feed them. Really cool to watch. Mine eat like pigs. Funny thing is my stupid clown fish has started hosting in the green one. Rubs up against it and sleeps on it all day and won't let any other fish come close to it. Doesnt seem to bother the brain though. I just have to keep chasing the clown away when I feed him.

Definitely post pics of yours after it gets bigger. Should look amazing.

COngrats on the camrea and the new additions looks great.

Thanks. I've been following along on your build also and yours is coming along quite nicely. I am jeolous you have more replies than I do though. :) I should have posted on the Reef Discussion Forum. Melev and NanoGurl have never posted on my thread and they are the biggest post whores on RC. :)
