Hey guys,
So I'm planning on starting a nem fish only tank. Im am going to get a 10 gallon rectangle tank, a small heater and HOB filter. I have a 65W pc light im going to use. I plan of using some live rock from my 40gal reef tank. Once it is cycled and established, I plan on getting a pair of Clarkii's and eventully a nice BTA. How does this sounds to you all. Any recomendations? I will make sure to take steb by step pics along the way

Use a bigger tank... BTA's can get pretty large. and it might look nicer if it under T5's, instead o f pc. Just my 0.02 cents...

I would actually go larger then a 15, maybe a 20 long or a 30. The last BTA I had was over 15+ inches when I sold it.

People are forgetting this size of a tank is also not big enough for Clarkii clowns. Even a 15 gallon wouldn't be enough room for just one Clarkii eventually.

I agree that a larger tank, at a minimum 20 gallon would be better. BTAs do just fine under PC lighting. You need to change the bulbs every 8 or 9 months though.

As of right now im thinking I will do a BTA, with two relatively small maroons. One bigger than the other of course. Im planning on adding the anemone first, then the bigger maroon, and once it hosts the bta i will bring in the smaller maroon which i will put in a breeder cage at first so they dont hurt each other
