Hello everybody, i just moved to houston from austin and I wanted to share what I have. I was keeping one 75 gallon tank in austin with sps and zoos. After keeping them for awhile i realized i loved both but they just didnt work that well together (for me at least). So when i moved i decided to upgrade slash downgrade, i went with two 40 gallon breeder tanks.
The one for the sps has a sump, skimmer, 6x39 t-5's, and carbon/gfo reactor. The polyp tank has no sump only a small hob filter, power heads, and a 4x39 t-5 fixture.
When i came up with the idea for the tanks i wanted them to be side by side with a water reservoir in the middle. Do to the size of the place i moved into i had to separate them for now.
this is some of the work from the start, well post more pictures later just need to upload them. Pics where taken with iphone so sorry if they suck.
im gonna only try and show my polyp tank but this is the building of both.
