Starting a polyp tank, time to share..

Hello everybody, i just moved to houston from austin and I wanted to share what I have. I was keeping one 75 gallon tank in austin with sps and zoos. After keeping them for awhile i realized i loved both but they just didnt work that well together (for me at least). So when i moved i decided to upgrade slash downgrade, i went with two 40 gallon breeder tanks.
The one for the sps has a sump, skimmer, 6x39 t-5's, and carbon/gfo reactor. The polyp tank has no sump only a small hob filter, power heads, and a 4x39 t-5 fixture.
When i came up with the idea for the tanks i wanted them to be side by side with a water reservoir in the middle. Do to the size of the place i moved into i had to separate them for now.

this is some of the work from the start, well post more pictures later just need to upload them. Pics where taken with iphone so sorry if they suck.

this is what they where gonna look like side by side. Im not a huge fan of the corrugated steel but my friend that was helping thought it would be good so i went with it. Once i find something i like better i am going to change it out.

Very nice set-up i like the Berlin style

When your done plumbing the system i would love to see a pic of the guts.

Sick set-up though good job

Awesome tanks and stands, its always nice to see a tank build, let alone two.

What kind of lighting are you going to have for each tank?

are you going to use sand or keep it bare bottom?

Im def tagging along, keep us update!
