Starting my build thread!

So guys you'll have to bear with me in this process as its already been a long one but i hope to have the tank up and running within the next month! I have been slowly collecting equipment for this tank build over the last 6 months! i want to do this tank right the first time.

First lets talk about the tank, I will be ordering a custom rimless starfire tank from cadlights with the following dimensions: 40"x24"x24"(Approx 100g).
The tank will have a rear center overflow with two 1" bulkheads.

Here is my equipment list!
Tank: Cadlights Rimless
Stand: Custom made by me
Sump: Custom made by Advanced Acrylics in LA
Heater: 2x Ehiem Jager heaters
Return Pump: Ehiem Compact 5000+
GFO/Carbon: BRS Dual Reactor
Skimmer: Vertex Omega 150
Movement: 2x Vortech MP40s
Controller: Full Apex
ATO: Tunze 3155
Dosing: 2x BRS Dosers?
Lighting: 36" ATI T5/LED Powermodule 4xT5 2xLED Clusters

Id like some feedback on my equipment list! Any suggestions?

The only photo i have currently is the beautiful sump i just picked up friday for the new build, its 32"x22"x21 (approx 54 gallons)

Sounds like it's gonna be an awesome project.

Was that the sump for sale locally? I saw that same type for sale with an Ato in the bay area. Looks awesome I stole a pic of it to diy it lol.. Following this build should be sweet!

Ya he sold the ATO Chamber before i could snag it. This is the most well built sump I've seen in person so once i saw it I had to have it, plus it will be much better than a 40G breeder haha

Oh i wont forget! Im currently getting quotes from various companies but for now I think I may go with Cadlights, they have been super helpful and their shipping is only 150, which is literally 400$ less than most other companies so far. I find it pretty crazy that ive been quoted 700$ for shipping when the tank only costs $750

Wow! I never realized having a tank shipped to you was that expensive.

Yeah!!! The actual shipping they quoted was 575 but they added 150 for "crating fees"

Very nice build on the sump.

From the sump's picture is not very clear to see if there are any gaps or holes to drain the water into the secord chamber if all the socks are clouded up (like an emergency escape).

Ya that would be an issue but the baffle is a good inch and a half lower than the top of the sump so theoretically water could dump over that. I'll have to keep an eye on it though.

A little update! I got my tank, originally the plan was to have it custom made but found a tank on Craigslist for too good of a deal to pass up! Here it is

The stand will be junked and replaced by a custom made one by me

I'm confused I thought you were going for 48x24x24 custom? Cause that's 100. So the tanks 71 gallons?

Well guys, yet again a change of plans, before I even got to start to set up my 70g, I found a 94 gallon Keith grandt tank I could not pass.

Haha I will fix them, and I think the bar is already set pretty high, I mean the ATI t5 led wasn't cheap
