Just my opinion but I think you need a deeper sand bed. I can see the glass. When I originally setup my tank I read that the deep sand bed was suppose to help in the filtration will all the critters in it helping clean the water and waste from fish and corals. I think it said minimum 3 inch deep sand bed. I am sure someone could find the articles on this better than me guessing. I would start there.
