Sterile after using copper treatment?

I got these two breeder size clowns....wild caught....that I plan on quarantining with copper treatment. I plan in the future to raise some frys from this pair....if I use copper will they become sterile or is that a myth.....

Anyone have ever used copper on their clowns and still have success with them mating and laying?

Copper might have a short-term effect on breeding capabilities of clowns. It does not make them sterile by any means. However, medicate if you see velvet. Brook is not affected by copper. Don't use copper prophylactically. Do use Prazi on all wild caught clowns.

This pair was treated with copper and formalin.
