Steven's 360gl Starphire inwall Project

Two Seconds. I just got it hooked up and the water droped about 1 degree and I was like, cool its working so I went up stairs was leaving my house and I forgot my phone in the basement so I went down to get it. Then I heard a pop and I looked down and in the chiller was a fire. Damn did it scare me. But some higher power made me forget my phone or something because my house would be GONE.

Here are some pictures I took today

All of the doors open on hinges but they are flush with the mantle so they don't look like they do. I didn't want them to look like cabinet doors.

Wow... That looks so awesome! I hope to make my tank look this nice! I thought you bought some Reef Ceramics for this tank? I dont see them in there (unless you mixed it with all the LR).

No I haven't put the pillar in there yet. I just don't trust that all the dusts are off of it. I keep putting it in water and the water still keeps turning cloudy. I don't know what to do. I bet I have done it a dozen times. I just don't want to cloud my tank. So for right now they get a little extra swimming room.:) :fish1: :fish2:

How do you like the ACLS systems? and which Sfiligoi fixtures did you get? How do you like them?

What would you suggest for a 8'x2'x2' tank?

thanks

Nick

I love them. They were pretty trick to get programmed. The

instructions are alittle vague. I would definitly only get 72" with

three halides . But you will not get 4 - 54watt T5's like you would

with the 48" fixture, unit You get 8 - 39watt with the 72" fixture.

But that is still ALOT of light. Mine really are overkill for a 8 foot

tank I just wanted them because my next project

will be 10 or 12 feet long. (I just turned 23 last month so I have

alot of cool ideas for tanks/ projects still on the list. )Plus I

have no dim spots which is nice too. So maybe not overkill. Its all up to you. I am very happy with

themSo when that time comes I will getdefinitely have AO build

my tank and if I need more lights, that too.

I have 2- infintiy XR4's 400watt. 4 54watt T5's and 4 ACLS units

Let me know if you have any other Questions about them.
