looking good

Your setup is going to be great!

That a ton of rock.. How did you lift that...helpers im sure ;)

I talk to John at AO today and he said everything is looking good for a Early/Middle of May delivery. So it looks like everything is on schedule.

what other pieces of reef ceramic did you get? or did you just get that 1?

I have a total of 9 pieces....BTW i am skippyreef's friend, the one with the rare angels in a 275 SPS tank....

If you are ever down my way (southeast of Ann Arbor) and want to stop by shoot me a PM here or over on michiganreefers.

Would love to see your setup when it's up and running, maybe Mike and i will head out that way some day.

nice progress so far :)

Nick

I orderd the 23.6 high large outcropping but by the time ups dropped it off it was in like 8 pieces so that didn't go that well but

Scott is giving me a refund on that piece. So I guess I will only
have the one piece.

I have season tickets to the PISTONS so I am up that way every
couple of weeks.

I will be coming that way alot now that playoffs are about to start.
I will let you know and see if you are around.

I would love to see your setup.

Dang sorry to hear, i actually had a piece or 2 break off, nothing major; fixed it with some super glue i think.

anyway just let me know, usually home on the weekends or at night after 5 usually depending on the day.

I'm really hoping the Pistons pull it off this year!

just shoot me a PM sometime and i will give you my number and address....

talk to you soon.

Nick

Here is the Blown insulation behind the tank. Its a new product we are using in our houses. It has a R value of 19 but still breaths very well. So this will help with the heat in the summer and cool in the winter.

The tank is coming tomorrow with the lights so I will try and post some pics later tomorrow.

Hey Steve,

Everything looks great! Just wait until you see the lights!!! They are amazing!!!

Your tank design is fantastic. Thank you for letting us build your tank.

The sheet rock looks really nice. Couple of questions...

Is the area above the hood going to remain open?
Are you going to add doors or anything between the top of the tank and the bottom of the hood, or leave it open?
Are you putting a door in the arched door frame?

I am having my trim guy make me a a fire place mantle looking thing that will open in the front but the side will be stationed.

The arched is not getting a door.

And on the top of the hood is staying open. So there will be alot of curculation.

Here are some pictures of my lighting boxed up. I haven't taken them out yet.

2 Sfiligoi infinity fixtures. 4 - 400w MH, 8 54w T5's.
