Building mine too. :)

Sean, i thought you are at the aquarium place to pick up the bin?

Yep.
All the filtered and UV sterilized Natural Salt Water I want for free 24/7. :)

I have to make my own RODI though.

I wouldn't be getting such a large tank if I had to make all that saltwater.

Sean i will be going out that way June, but myrtle beach thou. do you know any good stand up comedy shows?

Don't have the room.

Maybe one day I will get that 6' x 6' cube I want...or a really awesome cylinder tank.

nah taking a long golf vacation :D and lil entertaining wont hurt

So why do you think i call you every day on my way home :D

Imagine a cylinder reef tank.

24"-30" tall, with the base of it the size of a 6' x 6' cube.
Center overflow with 8 holes in the bottom for ALL the circulation you need. 4 outlets in one direction the other 4 face the opposite way.
Two closed loop pumps, 1 each for 4 holes.
Pump 1 comes on for 6 hours making all the water rotate clockwise, at the end of 6 hours it shuts off.
Then pump two kicks on and makes all the water rotate counter clockwise.

In a cylinder the flow would ride around the the tanks wall instead of getting stopped in corners, so that is all the flow you need. Like stirring a pitcher of kool-aid with a wooden spoon.

I have been talking about this "dream tank" for years.

Only problem is the way they manufacture these kind of tanks in acrylic there are always distortions in areas of it.

I need some to make me a mold and pour molten glass into it. :D

My LFS sell RR Cylinders here is a pic of two in different colours:

You have a very wise imagination :D but i don't think that will ever happen unless you won a lottery or you keep on shakin it at the bar and may be by the time you hit 80 yrs old you may have enough money for such setup
